Across the river at Newport

We leave Cardiff at just a few minutes past 6 and speed along, only slowing down a bit as we cross the river at Newport.

Microlights North of Hereford

After Newport the train turns northwards through Cwmbran and Abergavenny. Again there are lots of primroses growing by the side of the line.

We stop briefly in Hereford to change some crew and are then off towards Leominster.

For a short way we are tracked by two microlights.
